Dr. Karsy admits patients, holds clinic and operates at both UM-Sparrow in Lansing, MI as well as University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. Based on your specific case needs, the required team and patient goals, he will work with you to find a site you are comfortable with. He also does telemedicine consultations and follow-ups. This allows patients to stay connected no matter how far away they live. Both sites offer multidisciplinary neuro-oncology clinics allowing for patients to see multiple providers at once and be eligible for any clinical trial within the University of Michigan system.
We aim to respond to all consultation requests within 2 business days and setup a clinic appointment within a week. Self-directed referrals from patients are supported but may require an order from your primary care physician depending on your insurance. Yes, Dr. Karsy specializes in the management of complex skull base and craniofacial disorders, such as craniopharyngioma, juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma, and chordoma which can be very helpful in the treatment of pediatric patients. He will work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team.
